About the service: how maps work

Mapiko is a map platform. A registered user creates a map, picks a template and decides who adds pins: everyone, after approval, members, or only the creator. You can view public maps without an account.

1. Who runs the service

Mapiko is run by a private individual. The service is free and is in an early version. The operator and contact details are in the Terms of use.

2. Not an official source

Pins are added by people, and each pin is the responsibility of its author. This is not official information and not a replacement for emergency services: in case of danger, call 102 or 112.
